FAQ

Still got questions? Feel free to reach out. We're happy to help.

Who is Safal for?

Safal is for ambitious Sikh students and early-career professionals—builders, creatives, and technologists—who want mentorship, community, and career growth. Allies who share our mission and values are welcome.

When and how did Safal start?

Safal began at the Anandpur Institute Non-Profit Accelerator Bootcamp, when SikhTeens and the United Sikh Movement teamed up after recognizing a gap: plenty of Sikh talent and expertise, but too little representation in key industries and leadership roles. With a shared vision—to build the next generation of influential Sikh leaders—and a combined 15+ years of nonprofit experience and reach to thousands of Sikh youth, the two organizations pooled their resources to launch Safal and take the community to new heights.

What should I wear and bring?

Business-casual attire works well. Bring a notebook or laptop for workshops, and an updated résumé/portfolio for mentor or networking sessions.

How do I register, and what’s the refund/transfer policy?

Register through our website while tickets last. Any refunds or transfers follow the policy shown at checkout; if no policy is listed, sales are final and registrations are non-transferable.

What's Safals Vision?

We envision a vibrant Sikh professional diaspora—confident in identity, committed to Seva, and represented across industries and leadership roles. Participants leave Safal with clarity of purpose, a deeper grounding in Sikh values, and concrete next steps for impact.

How can I make the most of networking opportunities?

Safal offers curated meetups, interest-based breakout groups, and a custom app to connect with other attendees. We’ll also share networking tips and session guides ahead of time to help you plan your experience.
