This Privacy Policy explains what information Safal collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to collect the minimum we need to run the Summit well.
Information We Collect
- Registration details: name, email, role (mentor or mentee), and any survey answers you complete in the portal.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe — we never see your card details.
- Event-day data: attendance, dietary restrictions you share for the dinner, and event photography.
How We Use It
We use your information to operate the Summit: confirming your registration, coordinating hotel bookings, planning meals, and sending you logistics. We also use anonymized survey responses to plan future programming.
Who We Share It With
We share information only with the service providers we use to run the Summit: ticketing and payments (Stripe), database hosting (Supabase), site hosting (Vercel), and event production partners as needed. We do not sell your data.
Photography
The Summit is photographed and filmed. We may use this imagery in recaps and marketing. If you'd prefer not to be photographed, tell us at registration and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Your Choices
You can request to see, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To do so, email admin@safal-network.org and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to keep your data safe — encrypted database storage, HTTPS everywhere, and access controls for the small team that helps run the Summit.

We'll update this page if our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
